I am Aron Aldrich, and I currently live in Chattanooga, TN. I am a single mother attending college to become an art teacher. I have dreamed of becoming a Waldorf Teacher. The school that would allow me to complete this dream is located in Eugene, OR. I grew up in a very large family in upstate NY in a 18th century post office with a very eccentric father. We had no modern amenities and grew all our own food. We lived like this for a few years and after some time I grew to appreciate the experience. I am researching and quite frankly longing to try to live this way again with my completely citified children. My oldest son is not excited of the possibility of a life change, and my family would be concerned but not surprised if I was to try a very different way of life. I am so excited by the possibilities of knowledge that my children could gain by a homesteading experience.
